The AHA Jackson, MS office is seeking an experienced Public Relations/Media Relations professional to develop and implement communications plans promoting key initiatives in the Jackson, MS and Baton Rouge, LA markets. Based in the Jackson office, this staff person's primary duties include pitching local media stories, implementing public relations campaigns, securing media sponsorships, grassroots marketing and organizing media events.

Required Experience

Bachelor's Degree in Communications/Public Relations/Journalism or related field required. Minimum of 3-5 years related experience, along with demonstrated working experience with media and brand management is also required.
